Proteking assets since 1984
Protek Company was founded by Raymond Talbot in 1984. Raymond and his wife, Barbara ran and operated a fire protection company complete with: installation,
service and inspection company located in Centerville, Indiana. Servicing Wayne County and the surrounding area.
In 1999 Protek Company became Protek Corporation and relocated to Richmond, Indiana.
We incorporated and added commercial fire and security alarms to our
service.
In 2007 Protek also added fire extinguisher sales, service, and maintenance. We also purchased a local security alarm company
and added residential security alarms, video surveillance and access controls to our services. After the unexpected passing of Ray
in 2016 his wife, Barbara, and son, Mikel, who has worked in the family business since 1993. They transitioned to take over Ray's day to day operations
to provide and affordable quality service with integrity and full customer satisfaction.
